I love gadgets! I don’t always need them though. I’ve always been tempted with something like this but still on the fence. For now, I use an IPad Pro, my IPhone, a physical calendar for work and various journals/notebooks. 😊😊😊

I would have used my iPad if it wasn’t that my eyes have been getting tired fast staring at LED screens. The e-ink tablet has been much easier on my eyes. But using what you have is much better for the wallet. I think your system is great!

Thank you for this post, Amy. I too have experimented with e-ink tablets, namely the Remarkable2. It was interesting and fun to use at first, and the felt tipped pen was an cool sensory experience, but something always felt off. I still think the price point is super high for what these tablets bring to the table, but the Supernote Nomad looks pretty cool. Thanks for your review!

Hey there! Stumbled across your article when I was researching e-ink note takers :)

How is the Nomad when reading scientific articles? Do you find yourself having to zoom in frequenty?

I wouldn’t get the Nomad for reading scientific articles. The size of the screen is similar to your standard ereader or an A6 notebook. I recently got a ReMarkable Paper Pro for reading scientific articles. The Supernote Manta, the larger device, may work as well.
